Noble Poker Review
Noble Poker is one of the more popular poker rooms on the iPoker network, with close to 40,000 players online at peak hours. The entire iPoker network, Noble Poker in particular, has done well in light of the loss of the U.S. market, due to the adoption of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act in the fall of 2006 and is currently one of the most populated poker networks in the world. Their success is due, in large part, to the very loose play at their tables, great Sit & Go jackpots and high value promotions. Noble Poker further strengthened their player base when, in 2009, they acquired Fair Poker and absorbed their players.

One of the advantages to Noble Poker is that they operate in a number of different currencies including, U.S. dollars, British Pounds and Euros. Another positive aspect to Noble Poker is that casino games are integrated into their software which brings a lot of wild, inexperienced casino players to their poker tables.

Not to be ignored is Noble Poker’s excellent and very stable software. Graphically, it is very attractive with 3D avatars and soft colors that are easy on the eyes. The functionality of their software is also very good, with a very logical and easily filterable lobby as well as convenient betting functions at their tables.

Great software, excellent fishy action and top tier promotions combine to make Noble Poker an excellent address to fulfill the poker needs of any player.

The Action
The action at Noble Poker is excellent. As mentioned above, the casino games offered on their software bring plenty of wild casino players to their tables. Most of the volume on Noble Poker is to be found in the No Limit Texas Hold’em games where the viewed flop percentage gravitates towards 50%. That having been said, it is possible, with a little diligence, to find tables with viewed flop percentages well into the 60% range.

Cash games at Noble Poker come in three different table sizes: 10 seat tables, 5 seat tables and heads up tables. The stakes of their cash games range from as low as $0.02/$0.04 all the way up to $300/$600 with plenty of traffic as high as the $30/$60 range.

Noble Poker hosts a fairly abbreviated list of poker games which includes:

• Texas Hold’em
• Omaha
• Omaha Hi/Lo

Noble Poker hosts a wide variety of different tournaments for the player to choose from. The Sit & Go’s are offered with buy-ins as low as $0.10 and go as high as $1,000 with a selection of different types including satellites, beginner, heads-up and their famous jackpots. Noble Poker also offers a broad selection of different table sizes for their Sit & Go’s including 10 seat, 6 seat and 5 seat tables.

The multi-table tournaments are also excellent at Noble Poker with regularly scheduled tournaments with buy-ins ranging from $5 up to $1000 and guaranteed tournaments with guaranteed prizes as large as $1,000,000.

Noble poker hosts a fairly decent amount of freeroll and “almost free” tournaments. For the most part, their freerolls are No Limit Texas Hold’em tournaments and are highly trafficked by fishy fishy players. Their daily guaranteed $100 freeroll tournaments are excellent and they offer great $25,000 guaranteed tournaments with buy-ins of 2,500 player points.

One of the great advantages to iPoker network members is the large number of qualifiers offered to all of the big live events around the world. The iPoker network sends plenty of online qualifiers to the World Poker Tour and World Series of Poker tournaments and of course there is their multi-million dollar European Championship of Online Poker series.

For The Beginner
Other than relatively inexperienced players at the lower limits, plenty of play money games and an excellent array of freerolls; Noble Poker does not offer a whole lot for the beginning player. There is no online poker school, no video library, no podcasts and no written tutorials to speak of. Noble Poker has a fairly small “How To Play” page which is about as basic as basic is basic as well as a “Poker Games” page which briefly outlines how to play the three different games offered in their poker room; Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo.

In all truth, there are plenty of articles and strategy tutorials to be found online. If you are willing to do a little searching and outside reading then Noble Poker’s shortfalls in poker literature really shouldn’t be too much of an issue especially when taking into consideration the number of freerolls and play money games available and the relatively poor level of play at the lower limits.

Software Graphics and Features
The software at Noble Poker is very smooth and reliable which is to be expected from software developed by PlayTech. Noble Poker’s software is available in four languages including; English, Spanish, German and French and has very appealing graphics.

The software at Noble Poker offers excellent functionality. Their statistical functions allow players to take notes on their opponents during play and their lobby supplies excellent table statistical data such as hands played per hour, viewed flop percentage and average pot size.

The most recent version of Noble Poker’s software supports simultaneous 8 table multi play which runs smoothly and without problems of any kind. Their mini-view function is excellent and allows for four tables tiled and provides an excellent tool for players who enjoy competing at multiple tables. The tables are small relative to other poker rooms and are truly suited for multi-table play.

Noble Poker offers a few useful functions that are exclusive to their service. One such function is their hand history function which is presented in a convenient graphic interface and offers the beginning player a great tool to keep track of the effectiveness of their play.

Should you want to take a little break from poker or if you are waiting for a tournament to begin, Noble Poker offers black jack, 3 card poker and a variety of casino games.
