Eric Seidel To Be Inducted Into The WSOP Poker Hall Of Fame
Saturday, 23. October 2010

Team Full Tilt member and eight time World Series Of Poker (WSOP) bracelet winner, Eric Seidel, has been elected to the WSOP Poker Hall of Fame. Seidel is scheduled to be inducted officially next month alongside fellow poker pro, Dan Harrington.

Poker fans were to nominate ten players online for entry into the WSOP Poker Hall of Fame between July 1st and August 13th. The ten players were then judged by 16 Hall of Fame members as well as a 17 person panel that then selected 2 players deemed worth of induction.

Seidel is one of the founding members of Team Full Tilt and has been a major force in the poker world ever since he finished second in the 1988 WSOP Main Event. He captured his first of eight WSOP bracelets in 1992. Seidel’s eight WSOP bracelets were won across five different poker disciplines. This is a true testament to his master of the game.

Seidel’s most recent WSOP victory was in 2007 when he won the $5K World Championship No-Limit Deuce-to-Seven Lowball event. His eight bracelets puts him 5th on the all time list of WSOP bracelet winners and his 60 WSOP cashes puts him fourth on the all time list.
