PartyPoker signs Dragan Galic
Friday, 26. February 2010
Online poker giant PartyPoker has announced that it has signed top European professional poker player Dragan Galic.
Dragan, a 35 year old of German and Croatian descent, is currently ranked as the number one European player by PokerInEurope.com and recently served as a special guest in the Team Party heat at the Premier League IV tournament held at the M Resort in Las Vegas. While Galic did not have a successful showing, PartyPoker was impressed enough to sign him as a Team Party pro alongside Bodo Sbrzesny, Ian Frazer, Kara Scott and Mike Sexton.
Dragan Galic hails from the town of Schneverdingen, not far from Hamburg and has a total of over $900,000 in live tournament winnings in addition to an impressive online record. Galic most recently won the Casino Austria Poker Tour and finished an impressive fifth in the European Poker Tour (EPT) San Remo main event.
