Titan Poker Announces The New Titan Poker Team

Titan Poker has announced the selection of their new Titan Poker Team. Membership includes a six month sponsorship deal with Titan Poker which includes $25,000 to cover buy-ins for live tournament events. Team Titan represents an eclectic group of international players that all share a great love of the game of poker.

In his three years of playing poker prior to membership on the Titan Poker Team, Norwegian Jan Bjoersland has already represented Titan Poker in a number of prestigious live tournaments including the EPT Monte Carlo, the GUKPT in London and the ECPokerTour in Salzburg. The German, Andreas Schmidt is also new to the Titan Poker Team. Schmidt made a name for himself at the ECPokerTour in Salzburg where he finished second earning himself €30,000.

Fabien Carliez of France also rocked the ECPokerTour in Salzburg and made a good showing in the APT Macao. Both Carliez and his Croatian Titan Poker Team teammate, Slobodan Savic, have been playing for several years and both have experienced incredible success playing online. The Italian, Massimiliano Tamburini, is also new to the Titan Poker Team. Tamburini has had an incredible online career and has represented Titan Poker in the past at the Irish Open.

The final two players named to the Titan Poker Team made incredible showings at the World Series Of Poker Main Event (WSOP) in Las Vegas. The veteran Spanish poker player, Jose Manuel Gomez Rebenaque earned himself $57,991 in last years WSOP Main Event. Englishman, Adam York, made the journey to Las Vegas in both 2008 and 2009. In the 2008 WSOP Main Event, York finished at 41st place earning him a nice purse of $179,000.
