Help Train The Champ In PokerStars’ New Valuev’s Room

The boxer Nikolai Valuev was already the heavyweight world champion of boxing and now he’s looking to be the heavyweight world champion of online poker as well. Valuev is out to become a World Championship Of Online Poker (WCOOP) champion and all PokerStars members from the Common Wealth of Independent States (CIS) are invited to help him train. The people at PokerStars have dedicated a special room towards Valuev’s training, Valuev’s Room, and everyone is invited to play alongside the boxing legend and offer him tips along the way.

Valuev’s room will be open on August 15th, 22nd and 29th at 13:00 ET. The Valuev’s Room tournaments can be found by selecting the ‘Tourney’ and ‘Regional’ tabs from the PokerStars lobby. The PokerStars Valuev’s Room tournaments have a buy-in of $5.50 and the top 20% of the finishers take a piece of the prizepool. The tournaments are available exclusively to players in the CIS and the chat in the room is available in both Russian and Ukrainian.

The PokerStars WCOOP 2010 promises to be the largest online poker tournament series ever to be staged in the history of online poker. The series will run for a period of 62 days, including 62 events and a massive total prizepools of $50,000,000. Past WCOOP Champions; include, Team PokerStars Pros Greg’FossilMan’Raymer and Betrand’Elky’Grospellier as well as Yevgeniy’Jovial Gent’Timoshenko. Will Nikolai’nikopiter’Valuev be the next champion.
