The PokerStars Italian Poker Tour Has Returned For A Second Season

With two stops on the PokerStars Italian Poker Tour (IPT) already behind us, the tour is well on its way. Each stop promises to bring some of the greatest players in poker together to battle for huge prizepools in some of Italy’s most beautiful destinations. The this season’s IPT culminates in the Grand Final which will take place as a part of the European Poker Tour’s (EPT) stop in Italy.

PokerStars is currently running qualifier satellite tournaments for prize packages to IPT San Remo. In order to register for the IPT San Remo qualifier tournaments, players must go to the PokerStars lobby and then click on ‘Events’ and ‘Special’.

The IPT Season 2 schedule is as follows:



IPT Marino
The second season of the IPT began in style in the Congress Centre San Marino with 380 participants fighting for their share of the €737,200 IPT San Marino Main Event prizepool. In the end, the young 25 year old Luigi Pignataro took down Aldo Zambruno to claim the €190,000 first place prize.

IPT Venice
This season’s IPT Venice saw an IPT record turn out of 505 participants fighting for a massive €979,000 prizepool. Among the 505 people that participated, 78 were PokerStars qualifiers and members of Team PokerStars. The Hungarian Tamas Lendvai took the title and the 1st place purse of €235,000.
