Team FullTilt member Jeff Madsen took home over $625,000 for taking first place in the 2010 Borgata Winter Poker Open. The victory brings Madsen’s career tournament winnings to over $3 million.

The 2010 Borgata Winter Poker took place in the Borgata Casino & Hotel in Atlantic City and attracted 766 players for its $3,500 buy-in Main Event amassing a prize pool of over $2.5 million.

Madsen stepped into the chip lead with seven players remaining at the final table and continued to dominate the action sending four of the six remaining players to the rails. With a slight chip lead going into heads-up play, Madsen slowly wore his opponent down taking a 2:1 chip lead. The final hand saw Madsen’s [K][10] hold up against his opponent’s [Q][2] giving Madsen the big $625K “V.”
