The PokerStars World Cup Of Poker VI Won By Team Chinese Taipei

Team Chinese Taipei claimed victory in the PokerStars World Cup of Poker VI in an exciting victory at the live Grand Final held at the PokerStars Adventure in The Bahamas.

The World Cup of Poker VI began with a total of 54 countries with nine teams making it to the Grand Final at the Atlantis Hotel in The Bahamas. Team USA, Canada, Germany, Finland, Chinese Taipei, Croatia and Chili all battled it out for the title of World of Poker VI champion. In the end, it was Team Chinese Taipei that claimed the title captained by Team PokerStars Asia Pro Rayment Wu. The final saw Chinese Taipei defeating Team Croatia and each member of Chinese Taipei awarded $20,000 cash.

World Cup of Poker V champions, Team Germany , captained by Team PokerStars Pro Jan Heitmann were a strong presence throughout the competition but were unable to defend their title. Team USA also put on a good show under the leadership of Vanessa Rousso; alas, it just wasn’t to be.
