PKR offers their player three different routes to qualify for their nation’s World Cup team.

Route 1

The qualifier tournaments have a buy in of $5 and a guaranteed prize pool of $3,000. Players earn points according to their finish when playing in these tournaments. The point system is based on a very basic scoring system where players are awarded points in the reverse order of the number of players participating in the tournament. For example, if there are 400 players participating in the tournament then the tournament winner will earn 400 points, the runner-up will receive 399 points, etc. The top four point earners from each country will be the first players inducted into their country’s PKR World Cup team.

Following is the PKR World Cup qualifier tournament schedule:

The second route players can take in order to qualify for their PKR World Cup team is to win as much prize money as they can in 6 and 10 seat Sit & Go tournaments from May 22 nd through June 26 th.
