The Aria Hotel and Casino is debuting a brand new private high-stakes poker room on May 21st, The Ivey Room, bearing the name of the legendary Phil Ivey. While very young, Phil Ivey has managed to amass a collection of seven WSOP bracelets and is by all accounts one of the most feared players in the world of poker today. In honor of the Ivey Room debut, the Aria Hotel and Casino is hosting a $1,000,000 invitational freeroll.

The festivities begin on March 21st with a cocktail reception followed by tournament registration which will occur in the Deuce Lounge of the Aria Hotel and Casino. The $1,000,000 invitational freeroll tournament will play out the following day, on May 22nd.

The $1,000,000 invitational freeroll will pay out according to the following structure:

1st: Heads Up game against Phil Ivey for $250,000
2nd: $70,000
3rd: $40,000
4th: $35,000
5th: $25,000
6th: $15,000
7th: $10,000
8th: $5,000

As an added bonus, Phil Ivey will be participating in the $1,000,000 invitational freeroll and will have a $100,000 bounty on his head. In addition, another $200,000 will be distributed amongst players to serve as a bounty on their heads.

The Heads Up game between the winner of the $1,000,000 invitational freeroll tournament and Phil Ivey will take place directly following the freeroll tournament in The Ivey Room.
