Tom “durrrr” Dwan issues “durrrr” Challenge On Full Tilt Poker
Tuesday, 24. March 2009
Tom “durrrr” Dwan, the latest edition to Team Full Tilt, threw down the gauntlet to the poker world in January when he offered to put up $1.5 million to any opponent’s $500K in 50,000 hands of simultaneous four table head-up play.
The player who is up once the last hand is played, even if it is buy one dollar, wins the “durrrr Challenge”. If Dwan wins, he will keep any money that he has won during play in addition to the challenger’s $500,000. When one of his opponents wins, they will keep any money that they one during play in addition to the $1.5 million that Dwan has put up.
It is no surprise that with Dwan offering three to one odds, many of the world’s best poker players have already accepted the durrrr Challenge. The first players slated to play Dwan are fellow Team Full Tilt members Patrik Antonius, Phil Ivey and David Benyamine.
The conditions of the “durrrr” Challenge are as follows:
-The game must be either Pot-Limit Omaha or No-Limit Texas Hold’em
-The stakes may not be lower than $200/$400
-The stakes must remain the same throughout the challenge
-Either player must reload in the event that their chips fall below 75 big blinds
