PartyPoker collects $0.50 from the pot of every raked hand played in their Bad Beat Jackpot tables and adds it to the progressive Bad Beat Jackpot. With over 100 Bad Beat Jackpot tables, this means that the Bad Beat Jackpot typically increases by an incredible $1,000 each and every hour.

When the Bad Beat Jackpot is won, 20% of the overall jackpot goes towards seeding the next jackpot and 10% is taken towards administrative fees. The remaining 70% of the Bad Beat Jackpot is distributed in the following fashion:

• 50% goes to the loser of the hand (the Bad Beat).
• 25% goes to the winner of the hand.
• 25% is split amongst the other participants of the hand.

The Bad Beat Jackpot is only available at the Bad Beat Jackpot tables found under the Cash Game tab of the PartyPoker lobby window. In order to qualify for the Bad Beat Jackpot, the following conditions must be met:

• Four or more players must have been dealt into the hand.
• Players must be sitting in on the hand.
• The losing hand must be at least quad eights.
• The hands of both the winner and the loser must include their two hole cards and the hand must go to the showdown.
• The two highest hands are considered for the jackpot.
