PokerStars has just launched a new mobile poker application that is currently offered exclusively in the UK. Soon PokerStar members around the world will be able to get in on the action using Android and iOS mobile devices.

PokerStars Mobile offers players a selection of Texas Hold’em, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo real money and play money games. The new service allows PokerStars members to play in all of their favorite cash games, Multi Table tournaments and Sit & Go tournaments. Mobile players are not restricted to just games with other mobile players and essentially become a part of PokerStars’ global pool of players and games.

The PokerStars Mobile application itself is truly outstanding. It isn’t simply a transference of their PC product to a mobile platform and includes a number of fantastic features. Once such feature is the application’s incredible multi table optimization. This allows players to play at a number of different tables simultaneously using flick navigation and auto-switch technology to ensure that players never miss a hand.

As with PokerStars’ PC product, PokerStars Mobile has a fully filterable Lobby window to allow players to find the games and limits they want quickly and efficiently as well as an excellent tournament search function.

It is important to note that all players taking advantage of PokerStars Mobile will earn Frequent Player Points and VIP Player Points at the same rate as offered through the PC application.
