PKR Announces Launch of ThePokerWiki.com
Tuesday, 14. February 2012

The innovative 3D online poker room, PKR, has just announced that they will be launching ThePokerWiki.com. This site will offer players an enormous range of poker content and will include contributions from all of the biggest names in poker.

While ThePokerWiki is being funded by PKR, the site is actually a stand-alone project that will enable visitors to submit and edit content as well as post their own articles, much in the same way as Wikipedia. Dan Grant, PKR’s Media Manager, stated that PKR employed a team of writers “to get ThePokerWiki.com up and running” but from here on in, PKR’s involvement “will be very hands-off.” He further stated that the future of the project now rests “in the hands of the poker community” and he expects that ThePokerWiki will turn into the primary “repository for all things related to poker.”

It is hoped that professional players will contribute autobiographies, brick-and-mortar casinos will provide information regarding their poker rooms and scheduled tournaments and bloggers will provide information regarding their sites.

Join PKR and enjoy incredible 3D graphics and some of the best poker action online.
