The effects of Black Friday continue to elicit shockwaves throughout the industry. After the owners of PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, Ultimate Bet and Absolute Poker were indicted by the U.S. Attorney in Manhattan, it would appear that the owners of, and have reconsidered servicing U.S. customers.

Early this evening, the owners of, and announced that they will no longer be accepting any new U.S. players as of May 1st. The statement said that as a result of the Black Friday indictments, “they will no longer accept new signups from United States residents” as of May 1st.

On the positive side, their statement also stated that they will “continue to accept new customers from Europe, Canada and the rest of the world.
