What Is A Double Or Nothing Tournament?
Thursday, 6. May 2010
The ‘Double or Nothing’ tournament is a form of Sit & Go tournament. With Double or Nothing tournaments, the winning half of the participants win double the buy in and the other half of the participants get nothing. Let us take the example of a $10+$1 Double or Nothing tournament with eight participants. The top four finishers win $20 and the other players receive nothing. Double or Nothing tournaments end when only half of the players remain with all of the remaining players ostensibly tying for first place.
